Mariners listening on Sexson

Mariners first baseman Richie Sexon played horrible next season putting up a nasty last of .205/.295/.399. Most believe that he can't do any worse, so next season he will do better. He still has one year and $14M left on his contract, so the M's might have to eat some of that salary. It's been rumored that the Giants would trade 2B Ray Durham for Sexson. Durham makes $7.5M in 2008. Another team rumored to get involved are the Royals. The Royals don't have anyone with a nasty contract so the Mariners would have to eat some salary.
