Rivera Wants Four Years

I would like to know why the 3/$45M deal offered to free agent closer Mariano Rivera is still on the table. $15M a year for a relief pitcher is absurd, and Rivera is crazy not signing that yet. Rivera is looking at the contracts of Jorge Posada and Billy Wagner that have them signed through their age 41 seasons. 4/$60M for a closer is crazy, unless it is Francisco Rodriguez...

The Yankees are still the favourite for Rivera's services, but should do the wise thing and go to a plan B. Would Joba make a good closer next season?
