Odds and Ends

Today's random rumor roundup.
  • Tom Glavine's people are set to meet with the Atlanta Braves' people sometime in the next week. It's believed that Glavine would take a one year deal worth $8M with a mutual option for '09 from the Braves.
  • Troy Percival is now a hot commodity. It's rumored that about ten teams are interested in his services.
  • The Padres have interest in Matt Kemp.
  • The Cardinals announced that 3B Scott Rolen is available. Apparently Rolen will waive his no trade claus. He still has three years and $36M left on his deal.
  • The Rox are talking with Micheal Barret.
  • The Blue Jays may go after Matt Clement again this offseason. Padres and Phillies are other teams interested. Clement wants one year and incentives.
  • The Nationals like Elijah Dukes.
  • Francisco Cordero has recieved a four year offer from a mystery team.
  • The Cardinals, Astros, and Mets have interest in Livan Hernendez.
