Hank Steinbrenner confirms the offer to Rivera. Rivera should take it now. He'd got nothing to wait for. $15M a season would make him the highest paid closer. Billy Wagner signed a contract two years ago that paid him $10.3M a season, and that was crazy talk. If Rivera wants more or a fourth year, the Yankees will likely back off. I hope Rivera won't ask for another year or more money, because I'll have to call him greedy.
