Santana Counters

A couple days ago, the Twins made an offer to Santana to extend his deal. Today, it's been reported that Santana's party has made a counter offer. Santana was offered five years and $93M, in the linked post, and it's believed that he countered by asking for $126M. It's unkown if it's over the five years, or maybe seven. The Twins backed off at the counter offer, and will likely begin to shop Santana. The Red Sox and Yankees would jump in right away. Possibly just to not let the other get Santana. The Yankees have been noted to include Phil Hughes in talks. So maybe Hughes, Robinson Cano, Melky Cabrera and another pitcher? The Red Sox might trade one of Jon Lester and Clay Bucholz. So Lester/Bucholz, Coco Crisp and another solid prospect could grab the Twins' attention.
