Rivera Signs with Yanks
Mariano Rivera has accepted the Yankees 3/$45M contract. Rivera had origanally wanted four years, but settled for three. A report said that Rivera would settle for two years and an option. So not only did the Yankees seriously overpay for Rivera, but the report shoves their face in it. The Rivera contract should seriously affect the negotiations that will occur with Fransisco Cordero and Joe Nathan.
