Blanton and Haren

Oakland's two top starters have been inquired on, but the A's haven't decided whether to trade them or keep them. Trying to win while rebuilding is a very tough thing to do. If one of Blanton, Haren or Huston Street go, then it will be likely for all of them to go. Either go for it or blow it up. The Dodgers, Mets, Diamondbacks, Mariners and Yankees are teams that need pitching and are willing to trade top prospects for a top starter. All of the teams would be making phone calls to Billy Beane if Oakland is going to pack it in for '08.
