Blum and Astros Close

Reports say that Geoff Blum has agreed to a deal that would bring him back to Houston. Blum played in Houston in 2002 and 2003. The Astros have a hole at second base with the retirement of future Hall of Famer Craig Biggio, but it isn't believed that Blum will have a starting job. Would this signing mean that Mark Loretta will not be back?
