Yankees Want Lowell at First?

Weird news. An A-Rod signing won't stop the Yankees push for Mike Lowell. The Yankees would like to add him to play first base, if they sign A-Rod. If no A-Rod, than Lowell would be wanted at third. It would likely take extra money to play first. Lowell has had rumored to be offered a four year $55-60M deal fom the Red Sox, Angels, Cardinals and Braves. Taking a couple million extra to stay at third makes sense.
