Angels and Dodgers Leading for Cabrera

Sources say that the Dodgers and Angels are the front runners in the Miguel Cabrera sweepstakes. The Marlins continue to shop Cabrera, and are expected to trade him withen the next few weeks. The price will be very steep.

The Dodgers and Angels are also interested in free agent 3B Alex Rodriguez. Scott Boras probably isn't very happy about Cabrera messing up the A-Rod Market. Is it safe to say that the Angels and Dodgers will each have one of these third basemen?

From the Angels, the Marlins want Howie Kendrick, Nick Adenhart, another pitcher, and an outfielder. That is a lot. Ervin Santana or Joe Saunders could be the 'another pitcher'. Guys like Terry Evans, Nathan Haynes, or Reggie Willits could grab the Marlins interest.

The Marlins want four of Chad Billingsley, Clayton Kershaw, Andy LaRoche, James Loney, and Matt Kemp. That's pretty crazy. Even if the Dodgers only have one of the pitchers involved, Kershaw/Billingsly, LaRoche, Loney, Kemp package is crazy for one player.
