- The Rockies seem close with Matt Herges on a two year deal. But Herges is still talking with another other team that wants to make an offer.
- The Rockies are also getting closer with Yorvit Torrealba. The Mets lost interest, so Torrealba came back to the Rockies. The Rockies had offered two years and $7M, but the Mets offer will likely put the price up a little bit.
- Kaz Matsui will likely be out of the Rockies reach. He's meeting with the Astros and Cubs in the next week.
