Contract Window For Miguel Cabrera?

Trade talks involving Miguel Cabrera are heating up. He is under contract for the 2008 and 2009 seasons. Cabrera could get a bit more interest of there was a window to talk comtract extension with Cabrera was available first. The Angels and Dodgers are leading for Cabrera. The Yankees and White Sox are also in the mix. The Marlins want Howie Kendrick from the Angels, plus whatever else that they could get. Still, a nice 48 hour window to negotiate or something would be nice for the recieving team to get.
