- C Yorvit Torrealba's agent has talked with the Blue Jays and Marlins. The Rockies said that they would like him back but if the price is right he'd be a fit for Toronto and Florida.
- The Cubs could be looking at Kosuke Fukudome.
- The Padres expect their CF need via trade. They'll wait on Mike Cameron deciding on whether or not to take the Padres offer of arbitration. Cameron is a Type B and will start the 2008 season under suspension for 25 games.
- Silva could be the best FA starter in 2008. Last season the Twins where debating on whether to exercise his option last year at this time.
