The Rangers are looking for a long term CF. Torii Hunter and Aaron Rowand are high on the wishlist. Andruw Jones and Mike Cameron have been put in the mix as well. Some trade candidates would be Coco Crisp, David DeJesus and maybe Carlos Beltran if the Mets make him available.
The Rangers could also be looking for a 1B. FA Mike Lamb has been contacted, and like Kevin Millar. Ben Broussard could generate a bit of interest if he is non tendered by the Mariners.
A couple players who could be in trade talks are: Gerald Laird, Vicente Padilla, Joaquin Arias, Jarrod Saltalamacchia, and Nelson Cruz. Salty is there because teams will be asking and he could get a nice bounty.

get some color on this site and stop speculating about carlos beltran...they will never trade him to a prospect depleted team.
I'm working on it and I said that 'if the Mets made him available'. I wasn't speculating he would be traded. Rumors about Beltran are out there, and I can't help that.
