Odds and Ends

A few interesting piecces of info for Monday:

• The Cubs could get serious about Japanese players Hiroki Kuroda and Kosuke Fukudome.
• The White Sox could take a look at the trade route and acquire somebody like Pat Burrel or Rafeal Furcal.
• Cory Patterson could be somebody that the Nationals could use for their CF job if they can't get a big name FA.
• The Twins could have interest in trading for a CF, if they don't get Torii Hunter back. Coco Crisp and Rocco Baldeli are options via trade.
• FA C Mike Lieberthal could be catching with the Blue Jays next season.
• St. Louis 3B Scott Rolen could be open to waiving his no trade clause, but his three years and $36M still on his contract could be a problem.
