A report says that FA P Curt Schilling is close to resigning with the Boston Red Sox. It would likely be an incentive laden one year deal. The Astros, D-Backs and Phillies have contacted Schilling so far.
The Red Sox look to have a 2008 rotation that would look like Josh Beckett, Daisuke Matsuzaka, Curt Schilling, Clay Buchholz, and Jon Lester. Not bad, maybe a step up from last year if Lester and Buchholz pitch half decent.
